Upholding traditions

Willow Jack, of Fort Hall, Idaho, dances with her daughter, Maliah, at the 13th annual powwow March 22 in the Field House. The powwow, which attracted more than 1,500 people from 10 states, was the final event of American Indian Awareness Week. The Kathryn M. Buder Center for American Indian Studies in the George Warren Brown School of Social Work, the School of Law and the American Indian Student Association co-sponsored the festival.
