Students volunteer with Service First
Freshman architecture major Mike Pope paints a jungle gym at Barbara C. Jordan Elementary School in University City during Service First. Held every Labor Day weekend, more than 1,000 students, staff and faculty members volunteer with St. Louis area schools to brighten schools for the children. At the conclusion of Service First, a community service fair is offered on the South 40, which provides information on student-run volunteer organizations.
