Riding on the Metro
(From left) Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton; Mark Burkholder, chair of the board of directors of Citizens for Modern Transit (CMT); and Thomas R. Shrout Jr., executive director of CMT. Wrighton and Washington University received the 2006 CMT Sandra Schoenberg Kling New Initiative Award in recognition of the University's new Metro Pass Program and its strong commitment to public transit in the region. The award was presented at the CMT 22nd Annual Meeting and Awards ceremony Sept. 20.
