Distinguished faculty honored

Karen L. Tokarz, J.D., professor of law, receives a Distinguished Faculty Award from Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton at the Founders Day celebration Nov. 5 at America's Center in downtown St. Louis. Tokarz is an internationally recognized leader in clinical legal education and an expert in alternative dispute resolution and civil rights law. Other faculty members honored at the Founders Day event were James P. Keating, M.D., the W. McKim Marriott Professor of Pediatrics in the School of Medicine; Richard J. Smith, Ph.D., the Ralph E. Morrow Distinguished University Professor and chair of the Department of Anthropology in Arts & Sciences; and Karen L. Wooley, Ph.D., professor of chemistry in Arts & Sciences.
