Wood distinguished professorship
William P. Bottom, Ph.D., gives a presentation at his installation as the first Joyce and Howard Wood Distinguished Professor in Business March 9 in the Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center. Olin School of Business alumni Joyce and Howard Wood created the professorship with a gift of $1.7 million, which was augmented with $300,000 from the University's Sesquicentennial Endowed Professorship Challenge. Bottom has been a member of the Olin School faculty since 1988 and is senior associate dean and director of its Ph.D. program.
