Campus Watch

The following incidents were reported to University Police Feb. 23-March 1. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. This information is provided as a public service to promote safety awareness and is available on the University Police Web site at police.wustl.edu.

Feb. 23

11:36 a.m. — A computer check of a person at the transportation office at 700 Rosedale Ave. on the North Campus revealed multiple active warrants. The subject was arrested and transported to the St. Louis County Jail, where he was booked on the fugitive warrants.

4:01 p.m. — The wires that lead to the door alarms in Lee Residence Hall had been cut, disabling the alarms. Maintenance stated that this was the second dorm with the same problem reported. An investigation is continuing.

Feb. 26

12:19 a.m. — In the process of attempting to locate the source of loud music, officers in the Kappa Sigma fraternity house found several hookahs and smoking devices in plain view. The case was referred to the Judicial Administrator.

Additionally, University Police responded to three larcenies and one report each of telephone harassment, suspicious person, disturbance, property damage, drug offense and parking violation.
