Was there a football game, too?

More than 100 students, faculty and staff from the Olin School of Business gathered Feb. 6 at the Charles F. Knight Executive Education Center for the annual "Super Ad Bowl," an opportunity to watch and evaluate the advertisements broadcast during the Super Bowl. The event included presentations by area advertising executives such as Todd Crombeecke (above), senior vice president and account director at Leo Burnett, who spoke about what makes an effective advertisement. Students voted for their favorite spot based on the criteria laid out by Crombeecke. The hands-down winner: Diet Pepsi's ad in which musician P. Diddy unexpectedly creates a fad for the soft drink's trucks.
