Hard work

Lamara Warren (left), coordinator for multicultural student groups, and Sandy Graham, administrative assistant, both in the Office of Student Activities, haul a bag of dirt and rocks Sept. 15 at the University City Children's Center. A group of nearly 20 University volunteers, along with several hundred St. Louis community volunteers, helped construct a playground at the center. Many of the volunteers were part of the United Way's "Days of Caring" campaign.
