The School of Medicine reported that researchers had generated cells that re-insulate nerve axons and allow some improvement in neurological function in animals when injected into the spinal cord.

May 24, 1998

Renovation work began on Graham Chapel.

May 25, 1972

African-American leader Jesse Jackson gave the address at the Eliot Honors Convocation.

This feature will be included in each 2003-04 issue of the Record in observance of Washington University's 150th anniversary.
