| | | April 9, 2004 > HIV, addictions are topics of GWB forum HIV, addictions are topics of GWB forum  As part of the University's Sesquicentennial celebration, the Cormorbidity and Addictions Center at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work will host "Advancing Social Work Research in Addictions and HIV" April 15-16. The conference will bring together leading scholars to examine addictions and HIV research from a social work perspective. Information gathered at this conference will be used to further a research agenda for social workers studying addictions and HIV. The conference is a joint effort of the seven National Institute on Drug Abuse-funded social work research centers. Among the speakers will be Linda B. Cottler, Ph.D., professor of epidemiology in psychiatry in the School of Medicine.
