Sibel Kazak (left), a graduate student in the Department of Education in Arts & Sciences, examines the research presentation of Geun Woo Lee during the Graduate Student Research Symposium April 3 in Uncas A. Whitaker Hall for Biomedical Engineering. Lee, a graduate student in the Department of Physics in Arts & Sciences, presented his research on the local structure of liquid metals. The goal of the symposium was to allow graduate students to present their work in a manner accessible to a general audience. Fifty-eight students presented, and prizes were awarded to the top three presentations in five categories.
