Make me laugh

Pulitzer prize-winner and 1965 alumnus Mike Peters signs an autograph for 1963 alumna Lynne Lamberg at Student Life's 125 anniversary reunion recently at Holmes Lounge in Ridgley Hall. Peters, a former cartoonist for Student Life, is the creator of the comic strip "Mother Goose & Grimm" and also is the editorial cartoonist for the Dayton Daily News. Lamberg was a city editor for the student newspaper and is now an independent medical journalist, editor and author. Approximately 100 former Student Life staffers attended the reunion, part of the University's Founders Week celebration. Started in January 1878, Student Life is one of the country's oldest college newspapers and is the oldest continually run newspaper in St. Louis.
