Time to reflect

At right, sophomore twin sisters Annie and Megan Poelstra play bagpipes during the Sept. 11 Memorial Gathering held in Graham Chapel. The gathering was a time for the campus community to reflect two years after the events of Sept. 11, 2001, and to look forward to peace.

The event included addresses from James E. McLeod (left), vice chancellor for students and dean of the College of Arts & Sciences, and Michelle Miller (below), president of Student Union, in addition to a performance from the Washington University Choir and sacred readings from various faith traditions. The gathering was part of Campus Week of Dialogue.
