Warren Cheston demonstrates a Geiger counter to Barbara Brown in an engineering display for the Centennial Founders Day celebration in February 1953. The University Alumni Association has hosted Founders Day for about 75 years, and as part of this occasion, outstanding alumni, faculty and friends are honored for the important roles they have played in advancing the University. This year, Founders Day was expanded to a full week in recognition of the University's Sesquicentennial celebration.
