A moment of fellowship
Adrienne Davis, J.D. (left), laughs with John Drobak, J.D., the George Alexander Madill Professor of Law, during a reception celebrating her installation as the William M. Van Cleve Professor of Law Nov. 11 in the Crowder Courtyard of Anheuser-Busch Hall. The professorship recognizes Davis' outstanding teaching and scholarship. Her research focuses on the gendered and private law dimensions of American slavery. She also does work on race and feminist theory.
