Scenes from a Commencement
Spontaneous bursts of joy and emotion can occur at any time during a WUSTL Commencement ceremony, where long hours spent in lectures, libraries and the lab finally will pay off for the Class of 2008. Above, in Commencement tradition, master's and doctoral students "hood" each other after the conferral of their degrees. The colors of the hood represent the school from which the graduate earned a degree.
