Edward F. Lawlor, Ph.D., dean and the William E. Gordon Professor at the George Warren Brown School of Social Work, greets students, faculty, staff and friends during the grand opening of the new Commons in Goldfarb Hall September 5. The Commons features spacious areas for informal gatherings, a coffee bar, and state-of-the-art wireless Internet service and televisions.
