Outstanding achievement


The Outstanding TRIO Achiever Award, recognizing a senior who has excelled in leadership, scholarship and community service, was given to Felecia Webb.

College Bowl team finishes third in nationals

The showing marks the University's highest finish at College Bowl nationals since twice coming in second, in 1980 and 1984.
Arts & Sciences to recognize 5 distinguished alumni

They are Alan Bender, Barbara Levy Landes, Sanford Loewentheil, Kate Hilliker Murashige and Jill Evans Petzall; John Berg will receive the Dean's Medal.

Gephardt Institute stipends to support service internships

Five undergraduates pursuing unpaid public-service internships will be the first beneficiaries of a new Public Service Summer Stipend program.

Strom named Administrator of the Year

Nominations for the award were solicited by Student Union from Student Union representatives as well as students at large.
