Students argue before Chief Justice Roberts
 The four finalists in the School of Law's Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Competition experienced what most lawyers only dream of — arguing before John G. Roberts, Jr., Chief Justice of the United States. "To be able to argue in front of one of the sharpest legal minds in the country was an experience I will never forget," said Samir Kaushik, a second-year law student who argued the case along with fellow second-year law student Renee Waters during the Feb. 6 competition in Anheuser-Busch Hall.

McDonnell Center names new director
 Ramanath Cowsik, Ph.D., professor of physics in Arts & Sciences, has been named director of the McDonnell Center for the Space Sciences effective July 1. He will take over from Roger J. Phillips, Ph.D., professor of earth and planetary sciences in Arts & Sciences, who is stepping down after seven years as director.
Orwell's '1984' comes to life through The Actors' Gang at Edison Theatre
