The Record

The following incidents were reported to University Police from Aug. 24-31. Readers with information that could assist in investigating these incidents are urged to call 935-5555. This release is provided as a public service to promote safety awareness and is available on the University Police Web site at rescomp.wustl.edu/~wupd.

Aug. 25

3:33 p.m. -- A student reported the theft of a computer and two video cameras, together valued at $3,225, which had been stolen from summer storage in Park Residence Hall.

Aug. 28

10:15 a.m. -- A student reported the theft of a bicycle worth $850 from a rack on the north side of Rubelmann Residence Hall.

Noon -- A student reported the theft of a bicycle valued at $720 from a rack on the east end of Simon Hall.

Aug. 31

12:53 a.m. -- University Police responded to a student's report of harassment by another student. The incident has been referred to the Judicial Administrator and the Office of Residential Life.

University Police also responded to nine additional reports of theft, one additional report of bicycle theft, four reports of vandalism, two reports of property damage, one harassing phone call report, one report of a suspicious person, one liquor violation and three auto accidents.
