The art of grace and balance

Visiting choreographer Bebe Miller, founder and artistic director of the Bebe Miller Company in New York, leads a recent "Modern Dance and the African-American Legacy" class in the Dance Program in Arts & Sciences. Miller was in residence to train students in Field Work, her contribution to the annual Washington University Dance Theatre (WUDT) concert. Titled The Body Poetic, this year's WUDT features 44 student dancers performing seven professionally choreographed works at Edison Theatre Dec. 6-8. For more information, call 935-6543.
