Distinguished faculty

Rosa M. Davila, M.D., associate professor of pathology and immunology in the School of Medicine, accepts a Distinguished Faculty Award from Chancellor Mark S. Wrighton at the Founders Day ceremony Nov. 9 at America's Center. She was one of four faculty members chosen to receive this award. Also honored were Lee Epstein, Ph.D., the Edward Mallinckrodt Distinguished University Professor of Political Science in Arts & Sciences and professor of law; Ronald A. Leax, professor of art; and James T. Little, Ph.D., professor of finance and economics in the Olin School of Business. More than 1,000 alumni and guests attended the Alumni Association's celebration of the 149th anniversary of the University's founding.
