Responding to a persistent need
With assistance from technician Monique Tyler of the Gateway Blood Association, first-year student Stephen McCarthy donates blood at a recent drive at The Gargoyle in Mallinckrodt Student Center. The semester’s third and final blood drive -- sponsored by the Congress of the South 40 and the Office of Human Resources, in collaboration with the American Red Cross -- will be held from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 11-12 at The Gargoyle and from 5-10 p.m. Nov. 13-14 in Friedman Lounge in Wohl Student Center. Drives next semester are scheduled for Jan. 27-30, Feb. 24-27 and March 31-April 3.
