As the WUSTL World Turns

University students got the unique opportunity to work on the set of a network soap opera when the cast and crew from As the World Turns came to the Hilltop Campus Sept. 27 to film part of an episode. Two scenes were shot -- one in front of Brookings Hall and another in Brookings Quadrangle (above). Students from the Performing Arts Department in Arts & Sciences served as extras, and students from Film and Media Studies, also in Arts & Sciences, worked as production assistants. The filming here featured the final episode of World characters on the run and hiding out on college campuses. Filming took place on 10 different campuses throughout the country.
