Pinkie prognosis

Matthew J. Matava, M.D., assistant professor of othorpaedic surgery, answers questions from reporters at a news conference held by the School of Medicine after University physicians performed surgery on
St. Louis Rams quarterback Kurt Warner's little finger. The Oct. 1 procedure, performed by Richard H. Gelberman, M.D., the Fred C. Reynolds Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and head of that department, stabilized a fracture on Warner’s throwing hand. "The surgery went well, and we anticipate that with rehabilitation he will recover function over eight to 10 weeks," said Matava, the Rams' head team physician. |
