New students meet 'n' mingle
Above, University freshmen "get down" at The Pageant in the University City Loop during Orientation's "Evening of Fun at The Pageant." The event featured some of the University's finest performers, along with the always-entertaining "Magic Mark" Wrighton, the chancellor's alter ego who wowed the attentive audience with clever chemistry tricks.

provided an opportunity for transfer students to get to know each other and to meet upperclass residential college staff members.
