International humanitarian law

Michael Hoffman (right), director of international humanitarian law and policy for the American Red Cross, speaks on "Terrorism and the Future of International Humanitarian Law" during a training session for University law students. Through a pilot program sponsored by the American Red Cross St. Louis Area Chapter and the Whitney R. Harris Institute for Global Legal Studies at the School of Law, Red Cross international humanitarian law (IHL) experts trained nearly 40 University law students as IHL youth educators. The law students will give presentations on international law to students at seven area high school students.
